Ekumenik, in conjunction with Sled Island, presents the first annual Bowl-A-Palooza at one of Western Canada’s finest skateparks in Cochrane, Alberta, June 24, 2012.
This free event for spectators will host premiere skaters from all across Canada, skating in a freestyle bowl contest, and include great live music, and a large cash purse!
The headline bowl skate contest will be set up with five skaters per heat, each heat being approximately 15 minutes. There will be three 15-minute heats in each half of the preliminaries. Local bands will take the spotlight during the competition midpoint and before the finals.
